Transnational Project Meeting – III. Pleven, Bulgaria (October 7th to October 8th, 2022).

The meeting held in Pleven on October 8th, 2022, commenced with the introduction of project partners and a comprehensive presentation of project activities. Each partner presented their progress on Intellectual Output 1 (IO1), focusing on specific aspects related to early childhood education and care (ECEC) in their respective countries.

Hungary provided insights into the development of other professionals in ECEC, emphasizing the importance of consistency in textual content. Slovenia proposed a detailed description of professions, including their translation from Slovenian to English. Bulgaria scrutinized text consistency and compared documents to ensure coherence.

Slovakia’s Plavecký štvrtok and UNES partners were tasked with finalizing documents and translating them into English. Partners were instructed to upload final versions of IO1 to the designated Teams folder by November 30th, 2022. Additionally, partners were directed to prepare a brief description of professional development programs in their countries by December 31st, 2022, with UniTrnava slated to provide the structure of IO2 by January 31st, 2023.

Learning, Teaching, and Training (LTT) activities were scheduled, with Slovakia, Slovenia, Bulgaria, and Hungary each hosting sessions from April to September 2023. LTT sessions would focus on observing kindergartens and staff, covering topics such as early childhood education, non-compulsory preschool education, and transitioning to the school environment. Each participating institution was expected to send two representatives from kindergartens or schools and one representative from universities.

Lastly, the next transnational project meeting was set for April 3rd-5th, 2023, in Ljubljana, Slovenia, with the final meeting slated for October 2023 in Trnava. These gatherings are crucial for further collaboration and progress towards project objectives.
